The perfect pair of party shoes from Jil Sander - a delicate structure with an electrifying combination of nude and pink.

Whoa. A stunningly composed and modeled editorial photo from the New York Times.
Look at how the tan color moves your eyes across of the photo and see how no one has ever made one piece bathing suits with weird cutouts so beautiful before.

How to make a dress that you could share with your mother
I love the subtle complexity of this dress. The shape is so plain that it deceives you into thinking “only mothers would wear this”, but the lace that starts at the mid-thigh keeps it light, young, and perfectly suggestive.

Is her (faux?) sports bra way cooler than mine? Yes.
I think this image embodies the kind of style/attitude I want to achieve through clothing.

A wonderful black summer dress.

Some very real problems with ballet flats in this world: they tend to be overly simple (how can I justify paying 30+ dollars for a piece of then cloth and a piece of laminated cardboard that is a “sole”?), overly cute (those ubiquitous little faux-ballet bows), too rounded at the toe (i am not trying to look like a cartoon character).
I don’t really take issue with anyone wearing ballet flats persay, but their off the charts “cuteness” level is too much for me.
These ballet flats by Bally on the other hand are perfection. The radius of the rounded toe is pure art, the white edge adds something of interest, and the red sole helps you feel like an adult when you put them on (like the Louboutins of flats).

Somehow over the past year my wardrobe has become that of a stereotypical architect: plain, severe, structured,  jil sander for uniqlo.
This is quite depressing because 1) Wearing dark colors everyday takes a toll on your psychological well-being in the winter and 2) It will take at least another year and half for the dark colors to cycle out of my wardrobe, so I am stuck with them.
I kind of just want to dress like these kids.
